These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases made through the Verona Eco website and form the basis of the contract between Verona Eco Ltd ("we", "us", "our") and the customer ("you", "your").

By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

We supply food packaging and related products as described on our website.

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, dimensions, colours, quantities and specifications are accurate. However, minor variations may occur, particularly where products are supplied by different manufacturers or production batches.

Product images are for illustration purposes and may not always represent the exact packaging, colour or presentation of the product supplied.

Where a product specification is important to your intended use, please contact us before placing your order.

All products are subject to availability.

If an item you have ordered is unavailable, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible. We may offer an alternative product, provide an estimated availability date or issue a refund for the unavailable item.

We reserve the right to correct genuine errors in product descriptions, pricing or availability.

All prices displayed on our website are in pounds sterling (£).

Unless otherwise stated, prices exclude VAT. VAT will be added at the applicable rate at checkout.

We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Any price change will not affect an order that we have already accepted.

Where a pricing error has occurred, we will contact you before processing the order. If the correct price is higher than the price displayed, you will have the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel the order.

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the goods.

An automated order confirmation confirms that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.

A contract for the supply of goods will be formed when we confirm that your order has been accepted.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where there is a genuine pricing error, the product is unavailable, we are unable to fulfil the order, or there is another legitimate reason preventing us from supplying the goods.

Payment must be made using the payment methods available on our website unless an alternative payment arrangement has been agreed with us in advance.

For customers with an approved credit account, payment must be made in accordance with the agreed payment terms.

We reserve the right to suspend or restrict further orders where an account is overdue.

We aim to dispatch orders as soon as reasonably possible and will provide estimated delivery information where available.

Delivery dates and times are estimates unless we have expressly agreed a specific delivery date with you.

We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including courier delays, severe weather, transport disruption or other events beyond our control.

Where an order is delivered by a third-party courier, delivery will be subject to the courier's terms and conditions.

You should inspect your delivery as soon as reasonably practicable after receipt.

Delivery charges are calculated and displayed at checkout unless otherwise stated.

We may offer free delivery where the order meets the minimum order value or other conditions displayed on our website.

Delivery charges and any applicable exclusions will be clearly stated at checkout.

Please inspect your order upon delivery.

If goods arrive damaged, incorrect or are missing from your delivery, please contact us as soon as possible at orders@veronaeco.com and provide details of the issue, including photographs where appropriate.

We will investigate the issue and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement, collection, credit or refund.

For unwanted goods, please contact us on orders@veronaeco.com or phone 01355 222004 within 7 working days of receipt of the goods.

Unwanted goods must be unopened and in their original condition. We cannot accept returns of goods that have been opened.

We will arrange collection of accepted unwanted goods, subject to a collection fee of £12.50 per product, plus £5 for individual items.

This unwanted-goods return policy applies to business customers and does not affect any statutory cancellation rights that may apply to consumers.

If you believe goods are faulty or defective, please contact us at orders@veronaeco.com as soon as possible, providing details of the issue and photographs where appropriate.

We will assess the issue and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement, repair, credit or refund in accordance with your legal rights and the circumstances of the issue.

Where goods are supplied or prepared to a customer's specific requirements, including bespoke or personalised products, they may not be eligible for return simply because they are no longer required, subject to any statutory rights that apply.

Before ordering bespoke or made-to-specification products, please ensure that the product specifications, dimensions, quantities and other requirements are correct.

Ownership of the goods will pass to you once we have received payment in full for those goods.

For customers purchasing on an approved credit account, ownership will remain with Verona Eco Ltd until all sums due to us in respect of the relevant goods have been paid in full.

Risk in the goods will pass to you upon delivery, unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by applicable law.

You are responsible for ensuring that goods are stored appropriately after delivery and in accordance with any applicable product or manufacturer requirements.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the products you purchase are suitable for your intended application.

Where products are intended for food contact, customers should ensure that the product is suitable for the particular food, application and conditions of use.

Where you require technical or compliance information relating to a product, please contact us before use.

We take reasonable care to ensure that the information on our website is accurate and up to date.

However, we do not guarantee that the website will always be free from errors, omissions or interruptions.

We reserve the right to amend website content, product information, pricing and availability without prior notice.

All content on this website, including text, images, graphics, logos, product information and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Verona Eco Ltd unless otherwise stated.

You may not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute or commercially exploit our website content without our prior written permission.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

Subject to this, we will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of revenue or loss of anticipated savings arising from the supply or use of our products, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded.

For business customers, our total liability arising from any order will, to the extent permitted by law, be limited to the value of the relevant order giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

We will not be responsible for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where the failure or delay results from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

This may include, but is not limited to, severe weather, fire, flood, industrial disputes, transport disruption, supplier failure, shortages of materials, government restrictions, power failure or other unforeseen circumstances.

Where such circumstances occur, we will take reasonable steps to minimise any resulting delay or disruption.

Our use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

By placing an order with us, you acknowledge that your personal information will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

The version applicable to your order will be the version in force at the time your order is accepted.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland.
